The business comprises of warehouses situated in 5 towns in the Eastern  and South Western Cape, namely

East London
Port Elizabeth
George
Queenstown
Mthatha

All the depots are either owned or leased by Tiger Brands – Grains Logistics. 

The current operation consists of bulk shipments into the depots from the supplying production facilities and onward break bulk transport to customers by the Company. 

Each depot is staffed by a Warehouse Controller and support staff . All staff have proven experience in various aspects of warehouse and distribution administration and operation. 

Each depot has a fleet of trucks allocated according to the product and customer needs, i.e. retail chains and urban independent stores in the cities to rural wholesalers and independent retailers in the country towns. 

In all depots, the drivers are remunerated on performance subject to the provisions of the National Bargaining Council for the Road Freight Industry. This has been found to be highly effective in achieving quick vehicle turn around and high vehicle utilization. 

A fully equipped vehicle workshop is situated in East London where the trained staff carry out mechanical and body repairs to the vehicles.
